MEP Pär Holmgren (Greens/EFA) and Johan Jenny Ehrenberg, Founder of Dagens ETC, are pleased to invite you to a screening event, panel discussion Freedom under Pressure – who owns the right to your identity, and the inauguration of the exhibition Free – The Story of a Gender Transition.
The panel discussionaims to shed light on the lived experiences of trans people, both historically and today, and to explore how we can work towards a Europe where trans people can live freely, safely, and with dignity.
The event will feature a presentation of the exhibition Free – The Story of a Gender Transition, based on Johan Jenny Ehrenberg’s personal experience of being transgender. As part of the exhibition, a film screening will take place during the event, followed by a panel discussion with MEP Pär Holmgren, MEP Alice Kuhnke, Johan Jenny Ehrenberg, and invited experts (to be confirmed).
Please note that accreditation is required to access the European Parliament. A valid photo ID is required for entry. Registered participants will receive further information regarding access procedures ahead of the event.
